(Support) I'm sorry I couldn't quite understand your first question but if you wanted to know which software offers the Dolby Atmos technology, it's called Dolby Access and the Atmos Spatial Sound is seamlessly integrated with Windows 10 Audio Drivers. This is the reason why I'm keen to know what you 'installed' ) Along that, of course they offer headphone virtualizations but I guss only for own content not DVD or games. I don't believe Dolby offers something like the SSC becaus there business is licensing of codecs. It's the same technology we use in the SSC. I'm deeply involved in Dolby Atmos Productions like the new Kraftwerk 3-D production where our tools were uses extensively. Its available for Cinematic, Home Entertainment and VR applications. Well briefli said, it's an hybrid format what offers a Channel 7.1.2 Bed and Objects. What application do you 'installed' what offer Dolby Atmos? Even on 5.3ms response, it uses up to 7% of my CPU. Funny enough it doesn't seem to be so CPU intensive for me. But to answer my own question, SSC is indeed better in quality.

there's different sound scapes to choose from and there's also room size and equalizer with presets made for different kind of headphone models and brands. The good thing on SSC is that you can tweak it much more then you can Dolby Atmos. you can tweak the cpu usage a bit but still on lowest settings it still uses too much of cpu. SSC sounds very nice when gaming but on my current pc, it stresses my cpu too much tbh. on games i only tested Day of Infamy, gonna try PUBG later today.
